Major Millions Symbols & Payouts

Major Millions is the man in uniform who will lead you to victory. With fun, military-themed symbols and characters designed with a humorous touch, you’ll have a great time spinning for wins. 

Hit the correct combination of symbols on the right line, and you’ll be in the money. The only coin size available for play is £0.20 (~₹20), and all 15 paylines must be active, making the minimum bet size £3.00 (~₹300)

The symbols 

Major Millions has nine standard symbols, all represented by military imagery and two special symbols. Look out for high-value characters like the Major himself, the battleship, bomber jet or the tank. 

The lesser symbols include top-secret files, medals, a Major’s hat, a crate of ammo and binoculars. There is a wild and a scatter symbol which we’ll cover further on.

Paylines 

You have 15 lines with which you can win on this slot. The paylines read from left to right except for scatter wins which pay any win. The game only pays out the highest win on each line.

Min/max bet, autoplay option 

Major Millions features a simple autoplay function that allows you to choose between 10, 25, 50 and 100 auto-spins. Aside from this basic auto spin, there are none of the more modern functions we’ve come to expect, like the “stop at feature” option or a loss limit feature.

RTP 

The RTP of a game indicates how much of your money you can expect to receive back over time. The RTP of Major Millions is a low 89.42% which tells you that for every ₹100 you spend, you’ll likely lose roughly 10.58% of your funds over the course of the game.

Volatility

Major Millions is a simplistic game with not many special features to report. The game misses out on the excitement added by a bonus round, expanding wilds or a free spins feature. We’ll take a look at what it has to offer below.

Wilds, re-spins and other features

The bonus features in a game add to the excitement and anticipation of a big win. Major Millions slot features wilds and scatters but doesn’t feature any other entertaining features that might keep players spinning for longer.

Wilds 

The Major Millions logo represents the wild and substitutes for all other symbols except the scatter. Any winning combination made using a wild earns triple the standard win amount.

Re-spins 

Unfortunately, Major Millions doesn’t feature free spins or a re-spins bonus round.

Multiplier 

Major Millions doesn’t offer multipliers that accumulate and increase your winnings as a bonus feature. However, as we mentioned, all wild wins are multiplied by three. Scatter wins are multiplied by the total number of coins wagered, not just the payline stake.

Major Millions Graphics & Sound  

The graphics and sound make this game look and feel old-fashioned, but Microgaming created the game back in 2005, so we can forgive this. The cartoon-like military characters are well-drawn and don’t take the usually staid theme too seriously. 

The soundtrack features the music of a marching band with the noise of a crowd overlaid, probably to represent a military day parade.

Microgaming designed this game way back in 2005, and it shows. Not only does the game lack any real bonus features, but the soundtrack becomes irritating to hear on a loop after a while – luckily, there is a mute sound function. The cartoon characters are detailed and represent the theme well, even if they are clichéd.

Conclusion 

Major Millions ticks all the boxes for a very traditional 5×3 slot. While bonuses and special features are scarce, the progressive jackpot is very lucrative and gives you a great incentive to play on. 

While the RTP is lower than we expected, the low volatility indicates that you can often expect small wins. We didn’t like that you can’t adjust the bet amount or number of paylines and are locked into a wagering amount per spin. 

The symbols are detailed and fit the theme well, even if the design is predictable. If you’re a fan of military themes or simple progressive jackpot games, this one’s for you. We rate it a 6/10.
