Play Age of the Gods from India!
Visit the ancient Greek gods in the Age of the Gods slot, which is now available at the best online casinos in India. To help you start your journey, we’ve listed some online casinos favoured by Indian players for their online slots and which also offer a generous bonus to get you started, here.
Age of the Gods Symbols and Payouts
Age fo the Gods has a standard 5×3 reel layout, 20 paylines, wilds, scatters and several thrilling bonus games. Despite the number of Greek-themed slots available online, this one has several exciting features that make it stand out.
What’s so special about this slot? Keep reading our Age of the Gods review to find out more about the hit frequency, gameplay, symbols, and more! We’ll also take a closer look at the RTP, design and a few similar games you can play!
Symbols
There are 11 symbols in the game. The lower valued symbols are the queen through ace and the gladiatorial helmet. After that, you have Aphrodite and Hades, Hercules and Poseidon, and Zeus. The highest paying goddess is Athena, while the wild is the most valuable overall. There’s also a scatter as we shall see down below!
Paytable
From the low-paying Greek letters to the mighty and powerful gods, here are the symbols and paylines you want to keep an eye on while you play.
Age of the Gods Min / Max Bets
The minimum wager is 0.20 across all lines, while the maximum is 250. The wide range makes this a fantastic slot for all players, regardless of the size of your bankroll.
Age of the Gods RTP, Volatility & Hit Frequency
The Age of the Gods RTP is 94.03%. However, with the addition of 0.99% from the jackpot, the total return is 95.02%. It isn’t the highest percentage in the market, but it’s relatively average for a slot with a progressive jackpot.
Being a medium-high volatility slot, you’re more likely to win smaller amounts as you play. That was certainly our experience while testing the game for our Age of the Gods review. We even managed to trigger the bonus round at least once every 100 spins and played about three of the god-games each time before hitting the dreaded Hades token.
In total, we managed to play five bonus rounds of about three games each, and the smaller wins in the base games kept our reels rolling in between. Overall, Age of the Gods is an excellent slot for all players, regardless of the size of your bankroll.
Age of the Gods Jackpot and / or Maximum Win
While playing the bonus games, you might randomly get the opportunity to play the progressive jackpot game. Although the chances of triggering the round are low, you’re guaranteed a jackpot win once you’re in.
There are four jackpots: power, super, extra and ultimate power. The latter is always worth at least 100,000, and it’s won about once every month and a half. With the chance to trigger such a big win, it’s no wonder that players love spinning these reels!
However, you can still get pretty big rewards during the bonus gameplay. For example, a Zeus multiplier can reward up to x30,000, while a win during Athena’s game can go as high as x50,000!
Age of the Gods Features
There are several exciting features in this slot! For our Age of the Gods review, we’ve taken a closer look at some of the most thrilling ones you’ll encounter.
Wilds and Other Base Game Features
The base game is not completely devoid of features. Here you have the standard fare of wilds and scatters, which help you form better combinations and take you to the bonus round respectively.
Wilds
With a golden wild printed across weaved laurels, you won’t be able to miss this symbol. Despite its simplicity, this icon can be substituted for any of the others, giving you the chance to increase your wins.
Scatters
The scatter symbol is easy to spot, with the game’s logo printed on a lightning vortex. Aside from rewarding you with a win if you receive three or more across a pay line, you’ll also trigger the bonus round and get to play a random god-game.
Age of the Gods Free Spins
A combination of three or more scatters will trigger the bonus round. Before you can enter one of the god-games, you need to select golden coins to flip. Once flipped, you’ll reveal either Zeus, Athena, Poseidon or Hercules. Each has its own free spin game, and you need three icons to enter.
You can retrigger the bonus games if you keep landing matches of three gods. However, if you flip the Hades token, the bonus round ends abruptly.
Athena
During Athena’s game, you’ll be awarded nine free spins and receive a random multiplier between x2 – x5 for each. The maximum win during this bonus game is x50,000.
Zeus
Every three spins, Zeus will appear and increase the multiplier by one, up to a maximum of x3. There’s also a stormy wild symbol locked in the centre position on the reels, which can lead to the max win of x30,000.
Poseidon
Poseidon will randomly turn up to five symbols into trident wilds, allowing for bigger and more frequent wins as you play.
Hercules
During his bonus game, Hercules will become a stacked wild that fills up the entire third reel. Although it’s seemingly the least rewarding of the bonus games, we got several exciting wins during his round.
Age of the Gods Special Features
During gameplay, you stand the chance of getting a combination of all five gods. Getting this combo, called the Pantheon of Power, immediately awards a win of x200 your wager.
While it doesn’t happen often, we still managed to trigger it about four times during our 500 test spins, which isn’t bad at all. It’s an excellent way to top up your bankroll if you’re lucky enough to get it.
Graphics & Sound
Playing against the beautiful backdrop of the Olympian sky, you’ll quickly notice that every part of the slot’s design is created to emulate the riches of ancient Greece. Although there are no fancy animations, the design itself is perfectly suited to the game.
The music and the spinning reels aren’t very loud, fading into the background and creating a very atmospheric feel. However, the sounds of scatters, wilds and potential big wins create excellent contrast.
During the bonus rounds, the background and music change ever so slightly to reflect the god whose game you’re playing.
Athena is pictured against a red background of her temple. Hercules has an orange-tinged Athens behind him, while Poseidon stands guarding the Grecian coast. Zeus himself stands at the top of Olympus, tinges of purple and blue hinting at his lighting power.
Quite a bit of thought went into the design of the slot, both visually and audibly.
