Last week, Yggdrasil, one of the top casino games provider in the industry, announced the appointment of a new Chief Gaming Officer. Mark McGinley, who has a long spanning career in gaming, has been appointed in the new role.
McGinley has a long career in gaming, which spans over 25 years. Before joining Yggdrasil, McGinley held the position of the CEO at FunFair Games. Even before that, he was the Program Director at RNG Foundry and Director of Game Studios at Entain. McGinley has also worked at senior levels in Game Studios at Casumo and Odobo.

I see huge potential ahead of us and I’m very confident we can move the business forward to compete at the highest level in the iGaming space. Yggdrasil Plans to Bring Product & Programs and Studio Under Gaming
In addition to the appointment of the new Chief Gaming Officer, Yggdrasil is also looking to merge Product & Programs and Studio verticals into one single unit under Gaming. The motivation behind the consolidation is to enhance operations, more agile content delivery, increased focus on player and operator requirements, and more.
